Yunnan Provincial Party Committee visits Kunming SYS for research and investigation

On the morning of March 7, 2024, Zhao Yanrong, Vice Chairman of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association (CNDCA) and Deputy Secretary-General of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and her delegation visited Kunming SYS Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. for in-depth research and inspection. Ge Jing, Chairman of SYS Corporation, Zhao Lei, Vice General Manager, and Qi Taihua, General Manager of Kunming SYS, accompanied the delegation.

Zhao Yanrong and her delegation visited the Kunming No. 1 Water Purification Plant, which uses SYS's spore transfer technology for ultra-limit phosphorus removal and upgrading, and the Chuanfang River channel where the plant treats its effluent. They learned about SYS's technology, treatment processes, and the operation of on-site equipment, and expressed their approval of SYS's technology and operational services.

Following this, the two sides held a discussion. Jiang Nan, a third-level researcher from the Theoretical Research Office of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the CNDCA, first introduced the development history and current status of the Yunnan CNDCA and Yunnan Province. He mentioned that carrying out democratic supervision of the protection and governance of the nine major plateau lakes is a new task assigned to the Yunnan United Front by the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, with the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the CNDCA primarily responsible for democratic supervision of the protection and governance of Erhai Lake.

Ge Jing detailed the achievements of SYS in projects such as the Dianchi Lake management, particularly the upgrading projects of Kunming's No. 1, No. 3, No. 6, No. 7, No. 8, and No. 9 water purification plants. Utilizing SYS's ultra-limit phosphorus removal technology, these projects achieve a daily treatment capacity of 1.5 million cubic meters, making them the world's largest series of projects in terms of daily treatment capacity and effluent quality, playing a crucial role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Dianchi Lake's water quality management.

Regarding the protection and management of Erhai Lake, and combining SYS's successful experience in new models, technologies, and standards for Dianchi Lake basin management, Ge Jing emphasized that the core of lake management is the management mechanism, further stressing the importance of ecological restoration and water source protection.

Zhao Yanrong fully affirmed and expressed gratitude to SYS and Chairman Ge Jing for their achievements in water environment management and basin management, their technological innovations, future development plans, and their support for the work of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association. She hoped that both sides would further strengthen communication and exchange in the future, jointly contributing more wisdom and strength to the protection and management of Yunnan's plateau lakes.

Chairman Ge Jing also stated that he will continue to support the work of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association, and contribute ideas and suggestions to promote the development of environmental protection in Yunnan Province and even the whole country, and to help build a beautiful China.
